Now that you have completed the collapsed time worksheet and thought about your educational experiences...What are your goals for the future?

In this assignment, I am asking you to identify YOUR "SMART" goals for the semester (3-5 goals is a good starting place- more is fine!)

WHY Identify Your Goals?

  • Your goals will help us map towards your success as you create your capstone research project

  • Your goals will help determine the best research methodology for you.

S: Specific

What do you want to do with your interdisciplinary degree?

M: Measurable

Try to identify concrete criteria in your goals. It is important to break up your specific goals up into measurable elements.

A: Attainable

Your goals should be realistic, something you can truly achieve within the confines of this semester

R: Relevant

Your goals should make relevant connections between your two areas of study.

T: Time Bound

Identify goals that you can map towards and see growth in a timely manner (this semester)
